The Story of Christmas (LP)Note from Salli's family and former students: This album was hugely popular when it came out. It followed the TV show of the same name, which was the first one-hour long live broadcast TV special in America. It was one of those shows that "everybody watched" on the same day across the nation, so it became a touchstone for an entire generation of people who still fondly recall it. The record was so popular there were several pressings of it to keep up with demand: eventually it was offered as a CD (images right below the albums). These recordings are often found on Ebay and other auction sites to this day, indicating that this 1964 album became a mainstay in living rooms around America during that time period.
